The main goal of the 2016 Instructional Innovation International Conference: Supporting Students in Remedial Education is to invite keynote speakers to give lectures that help to define the essences and concepts of remedial education. In addition, by providing an opportunity for academicians and professionals worldwide to come together and share their experiences; teachers, school administrators and researchers may see a clearer picture toward future practice. Themes related to the practice, application and future trends of remedial education will be presented and discussed in various forms of presentation and publication.

   Conference Themes:

 Innovative instructional strategy in K-12 school remedial education.  
 Technology integration in K-12 school remedial education.
 Curriculum development and design in K-12 school remedial education.
 Learning guidance and support for students in remedial education.
 Learning evaluation and outcome measurement in remedial education.
 Professional development for teachers who specialize in k-12 remedial education.

Forms of Presentation:

 Keynote Speech: Three keynote speakers will be invited to give oral presentation for cases and practice in remedial education.
 Paper Session: You can submit your full-length manuscript by either English or Chinese, the editorial committee will decide the qualification for “oral presentation and listed in the conference program” or “poster presentation”.

Call for Papers and Presentations:


Please submit a maximum 250 words abstract on line at http://2016innovation.cte.tku.edu.tw/ before March 6, 2016. The abstract will be refereed by the Conference Committee and the acceptance notification will reach the author(s) by March 21, 2016. 

Full Papers:

If you wish to present a paper at this conference, with the acceptance letter of the abstract, you need to submit a full paper (up to 6000 words, English only) on line before April 15, 2016. The accepted papers will be announced by April 25, 2016. The accepted papers will be allocated to oral presentation or poster presentation.

Notification of abstract acceptance: March 7, 2016  Extension: March 21, 2016
Deadline for submission of full papers: April 15, 2016 
Notification of full paper acceptance: April 25, 2016 

Manuscript formats

The abstract and full paper should be sent as MS Word document with Times New Roman 12 point fount and single spacing with the following information: 
Author information: author name(s), author(s) affiliation, email address 
Abstract information (maximum 250 words): title, significance, aim, method, results 
Full paper information (maximum 6000 words): Abstract (no longer than 250 words), subject/problem, Design/Procedure, Finding/Analysis, Contribution to Remedial Education.
