    The 2016 Instructional Innovation International Conference: Supporting Students in Remedial Education will be held on the Taipei campus of Tamkang University (TKU), which is locatin Taipei City of Taiwan.
Taipei City
    Taipei city is the capital of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Situated at the northern tip of Taiwan, Taipei is located on the Tamsui River; it is about 25 km (16 mi) southwest of Keelung, a port city on the Pacific Ocean. It lies in the Taipei Basin, an ancient lakebed bounded by the two relatively narrow valleys of the Keelung and Xindian rivers, which join to form the Tamsui River along the city's western border. The city proper is home to an estimated 2,618,772 people. Taipei, New Taipei, and Keelung together form the Taipei–Keelung metropolitan area with a population of 6,900,273.They are administered under three municipal governing bodies. "Taipei" sometimes refers to the whole metropolitan area, while "Taipei City" refers to the city proper. Taipei City proper is surrounded on all sides by New Taipei.

   Taipei is the political, economic, and cultural center of Taiwan. Considered to be a global city, Taipei is part of a major industrial area. Railways, high speed rail, highways, airports, and bus lines connect Taipei with all parts of the island. The city is served by two airports – Taipei Songshan and Taiwan Taoyuan.
Da'an District 
  Da'an District is an important educational, commercial, residential, and cultural district of Taipei City, Republic of China (Taiwan). The name of the district means "great safety" or "great peace".

  The district is named after a village that was once located near the intersection of present-day Xinyi Road and Fuxing S. Road. The village was originally called "Daiwan", but was later changed to the more auspicious but similar-sounding "Da'an". The name "Da'an" is pronounced as two syllables ("Dah-ann").
Tamkang University 
      Founded in 1950 as the Tamkang Junior College of English, TKU was the first private college in Taiwan. Tamkang is a university of ideals, vision, and creativity. It sees the pursuit of excellence and ongoing innovation as the primary means of achieving sustainable management. It was the first university in Taiwan to employ Total Quality Management (TQM), which it introduced in 1992, the same year it set up the Committee of Educational Quality Management. After arriving at Taoyuan International Airport, you can take a taxi and have a direct trip to Tamkang University(Taipei Campus)for about 45 minutes. Or you can take a bus bound for Taipei at the airport and get off at Taipei Main Station, and them take the MRT to Dongmen Station and go out Exit 4, go along Lishui St. about 5 minutes and turn right, you will see a white building on your left hand side.
